We generally complain when we feel some discomfort or watch someone suffering from another person's misbehavior.

Once I made a complaint about a nurse to senior doctors and officials of the hospital

Nearly 3 years back, I went to a private local hospital to look for one of my cousins. 

He was hospitalized due to a fracture in his leg. An old lady was also hospitalized on the other bed beside my cousin.

The lady was suffering from a serious illness and a nurse came to her and injected a syringe into her left hand and attached a bag of fluid (glucose).

The nurse was constantly on her phone while performing her duty.

I and my cousin were having one eye on her while she was doing her work. 

We observed that she was not performing her work well and was always on the phone. 

Suddenly she went away. 

By the time nurse went away, we saw that the old lady was in deep pain and had some bleeding on her hand. In a panic, we rushed outside to call someone for help.

A senior doctor came up and looked at the old lady and treated her and the old lady was fine now. 

I told the doctor about the negligence of the nurse and how she unethically performed her duty. I told them how abruptly she did her work, and the negligence she has done on her part. 

Other patients in the same room also complained about the mistreatment of that nurse.

The doctor scolded the nurse and warned her to take strict action against her.

And the very next day she started doing her duty sincerely.

That was the time when I complained about someone.
