In cities, traffic congestion is becoming a growing issue. While some feel that supporting infrastructure can improve the existing situation, others argue that there are better solutions to address rising worries about traffic blocking. Increased financing, in my opinion, not a permanent solution; thus, additional steps that can better stabilise the situation should be pursued.

Supporters of funding are adamant that road reconstruction and rebuilding may alleviate traffic congestion and bring it under control. Road widening, bridge construction, vertical house development, and sea-link routes, for example, can help alleviate overpopulation. However, with rising population owing to city overpopulation, relocation of people from rural to urban regions, and increasing concentration of job possibilities in cities, better infrastructure would be unable to keep up. As a result, supporting these initiatives, in my opinion, will not improve the existing situation.

On the other hand, the administration must investigate the core root of the issue and implement laws and reforms to eliminate traffic congestion in developed regions. For example, one car policy, job prospects in disadvantaged cities, rural development, and so on. Such measures will equally spread the population, reducing the number of vehicles in a certain location and, as a result, less traffic in cities.

To summarise, while supporting infrastructure improvements may appear to be an easier option to dealing with the suffering of traffic in cities, it may not be the ultimate solution. in my opinion , Adopting alternative kinds of growth, such as rural development and vehicle rules, may, provide more chance for coping with road congestion in cities.
